The unanswered loop

This is the part that makes the assistant get better, and it takes about ten minutes a week.

What lands there

Every question the assistant could not answer, with a count of how many people asked it. The list is ordered by that count, so the thing costing you the most sits at the top.

Questions arrive here from two situations:

  • Nothing in your content came close to the question.
  • The AI read your content and concluded it genuinely does not cover the question.

What to do with it

Open Unanswered, read the top question, and write the answer.

That answer is saved as one of your saved answers, which outrank everything else — so the very next customer who asks gets it instantly and exactly as you wrote it.

What it tells you about your business

The list is the cheapest customer research you will ever get. Recurring themes usually mean one of three things:

  • A gap in your content. Add it and the bot handles it forever.
  • A gap on your website. If ten people asked the bot, a hundred wondered silently.
  • Something you should change. "Do you deliver to X" asked fifty times is a business decision, not a content problem.
Do this weekly for a month and most owners see the unanswered list shrink to a trickle. That is the assistant finishing its training on the questions your customers actually have, rather than the ones you guessed they would.
